We are Architech NYC and we are looking for experienced Software Testing Engineer to join our growing team of talented people. We are working remotely to build the web and mobile applications for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create, document, and execute test cases to support the software release process.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
- Perform functional, regression, configuration testing.
- Participate in preparing user documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in software testing/quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Good written English.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject is a plus.
Specific Skills:
- Ability and desire to work remotely.
- Work independently with minimal direction.
- Excellent communication skills via written documents/emails and via Skype.
- Excellent attention to details.
- Flexibility in a changing environment, upholding the Agile philosophy, balancing expediency with accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and a high degree of ownership for projects.
