Responsibilities:
- triage issues as they arise, root cause to test or development failure, work with development groups to resolve;
- design, implement, and test bug fixes as well as new features/enhancements;
- provide training/TOIs to Support engineers.
Qualificatiions:
- Bachelor*s degree (preferably in Computer Science or a related field) with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience * Must have extensive knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NAS storage environments;
- experience in C, Perl scripting, Python and shell programming;
- self Starter, loves to learn;
- excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change;
- driven, self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, an individual who has a passion for problem solving;
- experience with Windows Active Directory administration is a plus;
- experience with network traffic analysis is a plus (Wireshark, NetMon);
- knowledge of Solaris is a plus;
- knowledge of NFS, CIFs is a plus;
- knowledge of Dtrace is a plus.
