Responsibilities:
- Java-code design and test coverage according to the approved methodology.
- Debugging in the local code area.
- Participation in analysis and requirements measurement together with the analysts.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer technology or similar is obligatory.
- At least 1 year of experience in Java software development.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design templates.
- Understanding the use of frameworks and re-usable components
- J2SE 5.0+, J2EE 1.4+
- Experience with Spring Framework 2.5+
- Experience with ORM or persistence frameworks (iBATIS/Hibernate/EclipseLink)
- Experience with XML, XSL, XPath, XML Schema
- Strong experience with relational databases.
- Skill and desire for learning and usage of the new instruments and technologies.
- Good communication skills, reading and writing in English.
Highly desirable:
- Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks (ExtJS/Dojo/Qooxdoo/JQuery)
- Experience with latest Web standards (HTML5, CSS3, etc.)
- Ability to understand UML design artifacts and translate into working application code
- Experience with Eclipse development environment and Maven build automation
- Experience with Web Services is a plus
- Knowledge of EIP and SOA architecture is a plus
