Senior QA engineer postition

Position Overview/Role Description

FARM (Forwards Automated Risk Management) is the Deutsche Bank platform for FX electronic forwards and indices pricing, hedging and auto risk management.

The successful candidate will join the team to focus on Quality Assurance of the FARM platform.
The FARM team is a team of 8 people located in Moscow and London and manages full lifecycle of application development ranging from architecture and strategic technology decisions to release management and level 3 support.

In the the role of Quality Assurance Specialist the candidate will verify the functional specifications/test approaches, manage and develop test coverage, identify and address quality flaws and systematise the software process.

Responsibilities

The responsibility of the candidate will be Quality Assurance function for the FARM platform, including:

* Requirements analysis from quality assurance perspective;
* Communication with developers, BAs, and PMs for establishing requirements for quality;
* Test plans creation, maintenance and execution;
* Automated tests supervise, creation, maintenance and execution;
* Test environments maintenance;
* Active participation in test coverage expansion and testing process improvements;
* Functional and client documentation creation.

Requirements

* Strong understanding of Quality Assurance function, its role in software development lifecycle;
* Solid hands-on experience in functional, regression and load testing of client and server applications;
* Experience with integration testing which involves downstream and upstream systems;
* Experience with test automation tools/practices
* Strong test analysis skills i.e. ability to design test cases using different test techniques.
* Understanding high-throughput / low latency application metrics
* Good communication skills
* English is intermediate or higher
