Position description:
Leading U.S. based technology developer (named Cool Vendor by Gartner) opens QA Automation engineer position in Kiev branch office. You are intended to create; maintain and support AT scripts; design AT scenarios and test data, use and extend test framework created for family of own products developed in direct collaboration with world leading IT companies, such as Oracle, Microsoft, SAP.
Job responsibilities:
• Participate in implementation of test automation in the products
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration for automation testing
• Take a lead on overall design, development and maintenance of framework for desktop product test automation
• Analyze product requirements and design test scenarios adapted for automated testing
• Execute and support functional and performance tests; report results
Required skills:
• 2+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• Strong understanding of QA Process, Use Cases, and Software Development Life Cycle
• Programming/scripting skills (VBS, Javascript etc.)
• Knowledge of TestComplete or similar automation systems is a must
• Be aware of standards and metrics for product quality assurance
• Experience with bug tracking systems
• Experience with VMware environment
• Good communication skills
• Discipline and self-motivation
• Ability to read and write documentation in English is a must. Fluent English is a big plus.
