QA Engineer (for clouds)

Mirantis Inc. is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic QA Engineer, who will lead testing of brand new product in a cloud area for enterprise-level customers which is built on top of both Linux and Windows infrastructure. Mirantis, a US-based OpenStack cloud platform integrator, offers this position in its Moscow development center, in Russia.

We need an expert in QA of scalable distributed systems, who is passionate about driving things forward and not afraid of learning new languages and frameworks (there are those from open-source and Windows domains), written by the best developers in the area.

You’ll be working in a passionate team of professionals using the best practices of engineering process with customers from Silicon Valley and co-workers from Russia, Ukraine and US.

Responsibilities:

Test automation for full cycle of CI/CD
Functional, stress, performance testing, testing of REST API
Creation of full cycle of testing documentation (master test plans, component test plans, iteration test plans, …)
Planning and estimation of Quality Assurance tasks
Deep integration with developer teams
Communications with remote teams by means of teleconferences and trips (possible directions – USA, Ukraine)

Requirements:

Professional experience 2+ years
Deep understanding of quality principles and tools
Working experience with Linux
Working experience with Windows Server technologies
Strong experience with quality cycle documentation and practices
Degree in mathematics, IT or in related technical field
Written English
Skills and experience in one or more of programming/scripting languages

Will be a plus:

Skills in bash, python, *nix
Experience with cloud platforms (OpenStack, PaaS solutions)
Good knowledge of networking
Experience with virtualization tools
Experience with CI/CD process
Spoken English
