Cogniance is recruiting Java/Flex Engineer to join for CloudMade (www.cloudmade.com) project to work with complex RIA - http://tinyurl.com/3xjar3z

CloudMade is a start-up with offices in London (UK), Menlo Park (CA) and Kyiv (Ukraine). That builds an innovative application development platform that will power a new generation of location aware applications on web mobile and beyond. At the core of CloudMade platform is OpenStreetMap, the large, rapidly growing online community who are building a free map of the world. CloudMade's first set of APIs were released in June 2008 and included rich web and mobile mapping APIs which allow developers to embed CloudMade maps into applications.

Responsibilities:
Take part in geographic search engine and/or navigation applications development

Compulsory skills:
- Upper intermediate level of English
- Deep understanding of OOA / OOD principles;
- Deep understanding of TDD and passionti use it
- Deep understanding of ActionScript/Flex
- Good Java experience or other technology with OOP as basic paradigm
- Flex knowledges is a plus
- High level of self-organisation and independence;
