Senior QA Engineer for Deutsche Bank
Location: Saint-Petersburg

The Role:

Working in the Algorithmic Trading QA Team providing QA for internal cash trading platform development. You will be responsible for providing full QA service and driving automatic test coverage for this trading application.

• Working in a high-energy, front-office desk facing development team delivering revenue generating systems
• Planning and implementing full set of QA activities including (but not limited to) integration, regression and performance testing using 3rd party and in-house test automation tools
• Maintain a close liaison with distributed development team helping to identify potential risks and deliver mission critical trading system to become best on the street
• Taking part in developing and extending in-house testing automation tools

Technical Environment

• The primary hardware and o/s platforms are: Sun x86, Solaris 10.
• The primary toolsets and applications used: Java SE, Spring, Oracle 10, Tib EMS/RV, FIX

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 2-3 years experience providing QA for real-time distributed systems in an investment bank, hedge fund or innovative technology firm
• Experience in driving automated testing coverage
• Experience working with trading applications
• Strong academic background from a top tier university
• Works well under pressure
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Proven track record delivering QA for enterprise projects

Desirable Skills

• Strong experience in Java and/or any scripting language
• Automated test tool development experience
• Experience in setting up QA process
• Domain knowledge in FX area
