A large r-n-d corporation has an opening for performance consultant position/
Tasks:
Developing of performance test strategies and concepts, e.g. measuring performance in virtualized systems or performance test-case design and realization.
Conception and implementation of performance test architectures for complex software systems (distributed and embedded).
Application of Analytical Performance Methods (Markov Chains or Queuing Networks) or Discrete Event Simulation.
Planning and conversion into practice of process improvements for quality assurance and testing

Experience:
Experience in executing (complex) SW development projects with practise know-how in software development, SW modeling with UML and related Software Engineering Tools.
Broad Software development Know-how from embedded systems to web technologies as well as SW quality assurance approaches. Ideally candidate has a mathematical background e.g. with Analytical Performance Methods (Markov Chains or Queuing Networks) or know-how in application of Discrete Event Simulation.
Load testing tool application (e.g. Loadrunner from Mercury).
Good track in software engineering, e.g. analysis and design and application with UML-Tools, basic know how of IDEs (practical experience in software development of embedded systems with C++ and Java).
Good written and spoken English
