Должностные обязанности
• Co-developing the Java middle-tier. The development work is project based, implementing either new capabilities or new interfaces in relatively short-term phases. High productivity and high quality are both essential elements of development on this new strategic development.
• Working closely with the GUI developers to provide a performant and useful UI
• Translating business functional requirements into a logical, well-structured and performant application
• Contributing to projects being on schedule and meeting client needs
• Guiding and advising on the proposed architecture
• Being involved in the various stages of the project life cycle, including QA and post-implementation production support
• Developing own skill sets to match the changing technological environment within the bank

Основные навыки/знания
• Good software development practises essential
• Middle-tier development techniques essential
• Knowledge of trade/transaction processing systems essential
• Client-facing experience, highly desirable
• Extensive Java experience
• Experience of Java profiling and performance tuning
• Experience of Oracle databases and C# GUIs highly useful
• Have a good understanding of three tier transactional systems, and the security issues therein
• Have developed a multi-user three-tier application with Java middle-tier on Unix or Linux operating systems
• Experience of 2nd Line support role, methodical and quick when problem solving
